Following the presentation by Gaute Dyrdal at the crash site, the Canadian guests were taken along the track followed by the crew after their encounter with Magnus Askvik and hearing his advice to head for the coast. Some of the guests followed the whole path past Bjørnen and hiked up to the cave where the crew was hidden on the day of the landing. From there, the path led to Trynevika, from where the crew had been taken by Øselvar rowing boats to Strøno.

Some of the guests took a shorter way, walking to Halhjem, where they boarded the ship and headed to Trynevika to pick up the others.
