Saturday night dinner. A night to recognize the contributions of all of the helpers. Descendants of the helpers were invited to a dinner to recognize the efforts of parents and grand-parents, not only in the rescue of the six-sacks of potatoes, but in many cases in 4 years of resistance and struggle against an occupying force. A night to feel very proud of those who had risked so much for their families, homes and country.
